Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
SHLD360 ("we", "us") is a Canadian company based in Alberta. This policy explains how we handle information on this website, www.shld360.com, and gives a plain-language summary of how the SHLD360 platform treats customer records. Questions any time: info@shld360.com. Our privacy officer is responsible for how we handle personal information and can be reached at that address.
What we collect on this website
- If you request a demo, the form opens an email in your own mail app. We receive only what you choose to send: your name, company, contact details, and message.
- We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used. These tools use cookies and collect information such as pages visited, approximate location, and device type. Analytics data goes to the provider, which may store it outside Canada. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, and for Google Analytics you can also install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and reliability.
How we use it
We use your contact information to respond to your inquiry and, if you ask for a demo, to schedule it. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without your consent, consistent with Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL). If you do join a mailing list, every email will say who it is from and include an unsubscribe link that works. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Where your information is stored
This website is hosted with Amazon Web Services in the United States. Our email runs on Microsoft 365. Information you send us may be stored or processed outside Canada. While it is outside Canada, the laws of that country apply, and courts and authorities there may be able to access it. For written information about how we use service providers outside Canada, email info@shld360.com.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run things. Amazon Web Services hosts this website and the SHLD360 platform. Microsoft 365 handles our email. Amazon SES sends platform emails such as invites and notifications. These providers process information on our instructions. This page also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
Records in the SHLD360 platform
Companies that use the SHLD360 platform own their safety records. Each company's records are kept in its own private account. They are accessible to the people that company authorizes, and to our staff when needed to support the account or keep the service running. We do not sell customer records. We do not share them with outside parties such as general contractors, insurers, or regulators, except where the customer directs us to or the law requires it. Service providers that host and deliver the platform process records on our instructions only. The customer agreement governs use of the platform and controls if it differs from this summary.
Retention
We keep inquiry emails while we handle your inquiry and for a short time after, in case you follow up. You can ask us to delete them at any time. Platform customers control the records in their account for the life of their subscription. What happens to records when a subscription ends is set out in the customer agreement.
If there is a breach
If a breach of personal information creates a real risk of significant harm, we will report it to the privacy regulator and notify the people affected, as the law requires.
Your rights
Under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA), you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do what you ask unless the law requires us to keep the information, and we will tell you if that is the case. Email info@shld360.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (oipc.ab.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Children
Our website and platform are for businesses. They are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new date.
